AI Roundtable Series

The Prospect Research Institute’s AI Roundtable Series brings together fundraising research and prospect management professionals for candid, peer-driven conversations about artificial intelligence in our field.
This five-part series is a space where there are no experts at the front of the room — just colleagues thinking through the same questions you are. Each roundtable is designed for equal, open dialogue where every voice matters and no one is selling anything.
What to expect: Before each session, your facilitator shares a resource to help frame the conversation. During the roundtable, they ensure everyone has room to contribute — not just the loudest voices in the room. Afterward, you receive a written summary of key takeaways and ideas. Sessions are not recorded, supporting a candid and comfortable exchange. (A transcript is generated by the facilitator solely to assist with notetaking.)
- Each session is one hour.
What you’ll walk away with:
- A clearer picture of how peers and their organizations are actually approaching AI — the experiments, the hesitations, and the wins
- Practical ideas and techniques for using generative AI in fundraising research that you can put to work right away
- A meaningful connection with colleagues who are navigating the same landscape
Whether you’re actively experimenting with AI tools or just starting to figure out where to begin, this series meets you where you are.
Apra FL members can apply for three fully-paid scholarship seats with application – registration opening soon

There will be two cohorts to make live discussion actually workable across time zones:
- Cohort A (US-friendly): timed for Eastern–Pacific hours
- Cohort B (Asia Pacific-friendly): timed for India, Australia, and New Zealand
Pick whichever slot you can actually show up for — it’s about the clock, not where you live.
There is a maximum of 10 participants per cohort. If you miss the first offering, sign up for the wait list and we will offer a second cohort when there are enough participants.
