Across the Divide: An Apra Talks Debate
August 13 @ 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
This moderated debate will explore differing viewpoints on management structures, wealth screening, public data, vendor reliance, due diligence, and established professional best practices—bringing to light the real tradeoffs behind the choices we make every day.
Speakers will discuss how these topics influence prospect identification, qualification, portfolio strategy, fundraiser support, and ethical decision-making. Attendees will be encouraged to reflect on how familiar practices operate within their own organizations—and where those practices may need to adapt to meet changing expectations. Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of current issues in prospect development, along with practical ways to assess whether their own approaches remain effective, ethical, and aligned with fundraising goals.
