Corporate sponsorships – they are everywhere you look! The concept seems simple: in exchange for advertising and branded materials at the event/location, the company financially sponsors the occasion. It has been the bread and butter of the corporate world for decades. But if that is all you are asking for, you are only touching one piece of the big puzzle of corporate philanthropy. There is so much more to corporate fundraising than just sponsorships.

Corporate Giving Opportunities

Companies are trying to respond to the devastation that coronavirus has had on people’s lives, whether personally or professional. Recently, at least 20 companies have expanded their matching gift programs in response to the pandemic. For example, companies like AbbVie and Apple are upping the match from 1:1 to 1:2. Nonprofits can gently remind their donors who work at these companies about the increased opportunities to double or triple their gift.
